Amiga HAM 6 & OCS/ECS Graphics Tutorial featuring Image FX

This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast I am experimenting with some new photos of beautiful roses that I took on a trip to a Tucson Rose Garden with my wife. These photos are getting the HAM6 treatment and we will be learning to use ImageFX to manipulate and create fantastic HAM6 and other format images.

The system is my original Amiga 500 from 1988, fit into my Checkmate 1500+ Case from Stephen Jones, and using the Vampire V2 from Apollo. Video capture from the Amiga's RGB is helped with the new RGBtoHDMI from C0pperdragon and Retro Rewind. Stephen Jones still has a few cases left!  This week on 10 Minute Amiga Retro Cast I am exploring options to add a hard drive LED to the Apollo Vampire and other accelerator cards with the 44 pin IDE header. Join me as I show you how to hook the little guy up!

In a nutshell, we need a cable on pin 39 for the activity light, and pin 42 for power, and then tone the power down with a 330 or smaller Resistor. Interested in some of David Z's 3D prints? Get in touch with me, and I will get you in touch with him! Want a Vampire card for yourself?
